I have a requirement to be able to select multiple persons (pernr) from Employee TeamViewer iView and pass the retrieved pernr's to a second iView. Any ideas how to select multiple entries.? I know already how to do it for 1 entry (one pernr).

I have never seen multiple selection.

I am trying to customize portal theme. But background colour of the masthead, branding area, welcome area is not getting change even I changed in the properties. I clear the cache too.

Someone can help for the same?

Hi,

   We are using EP 7.3. I was supposed to change the permission of a folder where I had to add everyone role to it and check the the end user check box for the same. After adding the Everyone role, I saved before checking on the end user box. Now, the everyone role is disabled and I'm unable to edit it. I need to be able to modify the everyone role and check the end user check box. Please advise.

We have parameter : rdisp/max_wprun_time in RZ11 but this is for ABAP GUI sessions.

I am using FileUpload UI Element in Webdynpro Java 7.3, which is bind with 'com.sap.ide.webdynpro.uielementdefinitions.Resource' type attribute. Now if I browse and select the file and click on attach button, Resource file is coming as null  and it is asking for select file but I have already selected the file.

I have written the code in Attach Button as:

If I deployed this in EP 7.3 SP8, it is not working, means even if I browse and select the file and click in Attach Button, it is asking for Select File(Else part means Resource is coming as null).

If I use EP 7.3 SP0, then it is working file(it is printing the File name).

Please Help on this. Is this something related to Portal Installation SP related or suggest on this?

I am using PI web services to expose certain data to BPM applications developed in Portal 7.3

Wanted to import the wsdl file in NWDS without adding any service group.  I wanted to import the wsdl in the LOCAL_SG.

Could any of you tried this option.  Please help me in importing the wsdl file in caf.

Hi Friends,

There is one issue which is currently happening in SAP Portal which is as follows :

End user is accessing BEX report via the Portal and when he is clicking the save as option the entire portal page is hanged. But when the user is accessing the same report by logging via SAP GUI he is able to execute this report properly.

Please give your inputs on this issue.

Hi experts,

I am creating a new theme for portal desktop. I have browse and added new branding image using "URL to branding image" option in theme editor.

But after saving the theme , branding image is not visible in theme editor and  run time. Our EP version is NW 7.31 SP05

We can call a portal component directly with the URL [http://<server>:<port>/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/AppName.ComponentName]. How do we call this component using an URL like this - [http://<server>:<port>/irj/xyz] ?

I did try to modify the web.xml of the /irj (by adding an alias for the java class), however couldn't achieve it. (Also tried with quicklinks too, however that gives a desktop which is not the requirment. Cannot go for a dispatcher / reverse proxy as the same is not being used in the current scope.)
