There is an issue in 6.40 where an error 'Lower limit of interval is greater than upper limit' when trying to use the dynamic date calculation within variants. SAP has provided an OSS note number 990695 to resolve this issue.
Validation Process - Issue transaction SE38, enter SBAL_DELETE, select variant, and then click Display
- Enter variant name then click Create. Select Variant option and click Variant Attributes
- In the Creation Date Row, Choose 'D' for dynamic date calculation and for Variable Name choose 'Current date +/- ??? Days then enter '30-' for dynamic date calculation for todays date minus 30 days.
- Save the variant and validate the creation date has a date that is today minus 30 days.
