ERPGenie.COM -> SAP Interfacing Technology -> ITS -> SAP R-3 ITS Components -> IACs

The ITS allows Internet and intranet users to run business transactions in R/3 by starting Internet Application Components (IACs). Like all R/3 transactions, IACs are developed in the R/3 System, using R/3's integrated development environment, the ABAP Workbench, but are designed to work as Internet or intranet scenarios. SAP customers can choose from the ever growing number of IACs delivered with each release of the R/3 System, or develop their own IACs. Since all development work is performed in R/3, you don't need skills in other development tools.
